Ashley Joy Hamilton Soares divides her time between Austin where she was born and raised and Rio De Janeiro where her husband is from. She has a bachelors degree In Studio Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.

She works mainly in acrylic, watercolor, ceramics, fiber and textiles. Her unique style involves organic shapes and abstract themes.
